The Huika Mexihco EGOS Local Hub in Mexico City aims to strengthen and expand the organizational studies community within the framework of the
EGOS Colloquium by highlighting theoretical and methodological contributions emerging from Latin American contexts. It aims
to enrich the EGOS Colloquium discourse by bringing situated knowledge and insights from Latin America and offer critical,
pluralistic perspectives on organizational work from non-hegemonic contexts, challenging dominant narratives and expanding
theoretical frameworks.
This initiative represents an opportunity to demonstrate that meaningful academic community extends beyond traditional centers,
embracing diverse voices and epistemologies. Our motivation is rooted in one of our network's core objectives: To create more
pluralistic spaces for young scholars seeking places to discuss, write, create, and conduct research.
